That is what im trying to explain to the wife. For the same amount she is wanting to spend for me to have a nice daily... we could get a Fiesta brand new w/ warranty, better financing, no worries, and 29-38 mpg. Versus some used Acura's shes looking at with no warranty, and 21-29 mpg.

The bad side is the Fiesta's are ugly.

Depending on mileage and price. The Acura TSX for example.. we can get one between 13-14k but it has too much mileage to have a certified warranty.

The reason im comparing the two is because that is the discussion we are having.... she is stuck at looking at used Acuras and such. I'm wanting the best bang for my buck and to have more fun money in the end.

And my point is that if you want to save money dont half ass it. Compare the same class new and used and you'll see where you can keep cutting costs.
