Looks like his buddy had a safe and this is the contents of the safe (judging by the first page of the post).
According to the posting and the time/date stamps, I would say these were dug up early 06' after returning post storm. I read the whole thread though, I never saw any updated photos with regards to how well they cleaned up though the OP does state that the G1 G17 cleaned up well though the slide will have to be re-finished (obviously).
