.223 is a really nice round. They generate a lot more energy than most people realize. I have very little "ballistic" knowledge, but I went to a course years ago that showed what different rounds do to gelatine at various distances, and I was surprised at some of the damage smaller calibers (.22-250, .223, etc.) will do.
Anyone know the cost of a chopper hunt like that?
