    New Scattergun!

    I just got the trade of a lifetime. I ran into an awesome deal on this. It's a Benny Hill Versamax, with a Carbon Arms extension tube. I have the fitted nordic one that Benny puts on it, but the carbon arms one doesn't require a barrel clamp and is a true one piece tube. I shot it today and it shoots great. Looking forward to shooting it in a match!

    Ohhh, and nevermind my plywood counter tops, they'll be granite in a couple of weeks. Not having a kitchen counter/sink SUCKS.

        A FNH SLP that had the lifter welded up, and was stippled. I got the gun for $900 with the lightweight barrel (that I kept) and 3 briley chokes for the light barrel (which I kept). All in all if I can sell what I kept for about $500 which I should be able to do ( I added 2 more briley chokes), I'll have about $700 in what I traded. Deal of the century!

                    Let me know how that's running here in a few months. I've been thinking about a Versa Max as my sporting shotgun for a while but the reviews have been very inconsistent.

                      I love mine! I was about to recommend the Carbon Arms extension tube, but you already have that covered. Let us know how you like it once have a chance to use it in a competition.

                        Just used it today guys. Gun ran it's ass off. No hiccups what so ever. Couldn't be happier with the trade. Just wish that I had some extended chokes.... Might be calling briley's.

                            No, I'm running California competition works shell caddies. The 4 shell ones. I just got a couple of AP Custom 4x4's in the mail yesterday, so I'm going to be running those. I've seen a lot of guys running the load 2's and they like them. But only a couple are truly faster than me when loading on the fly. I can't justify the cost of them when I'm really not that slow when loading 4 at a time.
