I miss it up there. My dad has lived on acreage in the county since the late 80's. We just walked outside when we wanted to shoot. He had my stepbrother bring his backhoe up and make a good backstop for him at the current place.

My experience with .22 pistols is they completely change once you put a suppressor on it. My P22 jammed after about 100 rds, just got too dirty, but ran fine without a can. I had a colt gold cup, did the same thing - jammed after about 100rds - got too dirty. The only pistols I've ever fired that were 100% reliable suppressed for any long period of time are Ruger MKII/MKIII's. I attribute that to a very low action weight - on those converted pistols the slide carries a lot of weight and inertia. When the gun gets dirty it doesn't have the spring pressure to chamber rounds and jams. On the MKII/MKIII it only has a small bolt and has much heavier spring pressure, so it just powers through the buildup."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Hey "93WHITELXCOUPE" I was curious because i was at Cabella's today and was considering purchasing a Mosquito. Have you had an opportunity to shoot it and if so what are you're opinions of ownership so far? I have two Sig weapons now and I love them both, but have heard mixed reviews about the Mosquito. Thanks in advance.
