shot the .22TCM today...WOW is it loud! Sounds like a .223 rifle round more than a pistol round. Very litte recoil and the wife got some vids with the muzzle flash.
Also ran 200 rounds through it as a 9mm and it worked great. I may take it to a shoot tomorrow and give it hell. Just have to modify my 1911 holster to deal with the double stack grip.
I have to say this Rock Island 1911 shoots very nice and was VERY accruate in 9mm and the .22TCM.
I did find the Factory RIA magazine has a minor difference to it that makes loading it very easy. I either need to file the aftermarkets down a little or just get a speed loader that works for it.
Very happy with the purchase....now I just need to figure out if I shoot the G34 or the 1911-9mm tomorrow!
