Never had any issues with any of the three Kimber's I've had. Of course there all older built ones so I'm not sure of the quality of the newer ones.

              • How is the fit/finish on the Citadel? They look pretty decent for the money, buds has some new ones for $550.

                • How do you like that Citadel? I almost pickled one up last week.

                  • I like it for what I spent on it. Shoots well and feels good. I did a basic trigger job on I because it was a bit notchy but after that..... Yeah, my new daily.

Never had any problems with any of my Kimbers (I have three) but they are all older models, nothing new. If I buy another 1911 it will probably be from Springfield Armory.

                      • I know it's clearly not everyone's cup of tea, but it was a spur of the moment purchase.

                        • Para isn't too bad but some of their models have issues. I'd take that over the Taurus 1911's.

                            • Not a 1911, but you get the point. Just snagged this and I can't wait to get to the range. Should be a nice piece!
