Little late to the thread, but I just picked up this Beretta 3901 today and I can't wait for this fall. I put my old Winchester model 12 in it for good measure. Not as cool of a back story as helosailor's, but I sure do love it.

Will do. I was looking really hard at some used 11-87s and 1100s, but I picked up one of these Berettas and was sold instantly.

I picked up a poly stock with a sling attachment for the old Montgomery Ward 12ga.

My scrap pile styled 1930's Stevens side by side with tenite forearm. Of course the tenite stock was long gone by the time I acquired it. I have actually fired this thing how it sits.

And my 1969 year model smith and wesson 20 gauge model 1000. It's never been shot and I still have the box. My dad gave it to me a long time ago. Pretty special gun to me, and the engraving is beautiful IMO.

I almost forgot I had this one. It was my second gun ever after my model 63. I got it when I was eleven or twelve, difficult to remember. It's an oddball, 1953 or so, Mossberg .410 bolt action.

I have a bolt action .410 my dad gave me that's probably around that same age, but I haven't looked at it in forever and don't know what make it is.

Yeah, same here, my Dad got it for me. I had forgotten about the thing, lol. It was stored away with an old single shot .410 break over. I believe these were relatively popular, but I know several companies made them. I have seen a Stevens before, and was informed that Springfield might have made one.
