My rifles travel in this going to and from the range. No one needs to know I have guns.

Same with pistols. I carry them in a Sears Craftsman tool bag. No gun brands or logos.

There is a guy that goes to the range close to me and he always carries his guns in a guitar case. I figured that it would have been a cheap gun that he had in there but no, it was an AI, not sure what brand of scope. But one of the employees at the range said that it's about a 12K setup.

Just brought it up because you not wanting people to know you were carrying a gun reminded me of that guy.

Yea but I still have to unload the bag from my car/truck and walk to my front door. It matters more when you live in an apartment.

I use softcases. If taking multiple handguns they go in softcases inside a gym bag.

Depends on the gun. I have the Midway range bag, came with a couple gun rugs, I use some regular soft long gun cases when I go to the range. When I travel I have a 2 and 4 pistol Pelican case as well as a 2 rifle hard case.

The pistol case fits down in the middle of my range bag as well as the range bag having spots for 2 more pistols. Both the pistol and rifle cases are AMS, I like the square soft cases because they don't scream gun case.

I've also got a couple of the cheap plano double gun cases if I'm taking lots of stuff.
