That would bother the shit out of me. If the cause was from shitty loads that perhaps you made or bought that blew up the gun then sure. If not there's no way I'd let anyone pay for a gun that broke if they were shooting it.

    • Ask any major hand gun store they will tell you they sell 3-6 glocks to every single other product. This doesnt mean anything as far as them being a good gun, but they sell for a reason.

I can understand someone not wanting a glock, but I cant understand how someone can call them a bad gun. I own 3 guns, all three are to protect me, and thats it. I dont care for shinny, pretty, fancy guns, I want a gun that shoots straight, and works, that is all.

If you count world wide, glock actually probably does control 50-60% Of the Handgun Market. If you include MILITARY and Police use worldwide.

Even now, the Beretta is going to be phased out of the US Military and the Military is looking at Glock to replace the Beretta.

Now gun market in the US Civilian world, thats different. Glock probably has about 35-40% of the market.
Maybe semiautomatic handguns (but I still don't see them having a huge advantage over all competitors), but the fact that they don't manufacture revolvers or high-end handguns makes this almost impossible.

Most people go for cheaper end guns that higher end.

Its just like cars, you see more chevys on the road vs mercedes.

Go to the range, I see a lot of glocks, some 1911s, then a wheelgun here or there. Last CHL renewal I went to, I was the only one in the class that didnt sport a glock out of 25 people

Find it hard to believe 24 out of 25 people had glocks in your class.

                          • Here is what I can attest to. Out of the 5 gun toters in our office...

Person 1 - 1 Glock no other handguns
Person 2 - 5 Glocks no other handguns
Person 3 - No Glocks, just a .44 Mag, wants to buy a .45 Glock
Person 4 - 1 Glock no other handguns
Person 5 - 1 Glock another pocket gun not Glock

Nearly everyone I know that shoots has at least 1 Glock. Hell, even you claim to have one CJ - even though you just use it for a door stop. Even a Glock hater that I know has a Glock 19 cause it's fun to abuse.

If you want to use a car analogy, Glock makes one mid-range model with about 10 different trim options. There are other manufacturers out there that make comparable mid-range models with similar trim options, but they also make many different models, ranging from the low end to the high-end luxury stuff.
