    Are you delusional?

I promise you that HK has sold more guns than glock. They have been around since 1949, and armed countless armies and police forces with both battle and assault rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, and last of all many fine lines of pistols. They also sell and have sold hunting rifles in calibers ranging from 22lr to 30-06.

Glock on the other hand has been around since the 80s and has sold only sub-par pistols since then, using ideas and technology developed by HK. HK was the first to use a polymer framed pistol, which Glock ripped off, and then was the first to make a pistol with polygonal rifling, which Glock ripped off.

But you are right, Glock sells more pistols to broke dick neckbeards and wanna be paramilitary nut jobs currently in the United States.

And those affect their share in the handgun market...how?

"Despite initial resistance from the market to accept a "plastic gun" due to durability and reliability concerns, Glock pistols have become the company's most profitable line of products, commanding 65% of the market share of handguns for United States law enforcement agencies[6] as well as supplying numerous national armed forces and security agencies worldwide."

I may give you credit for selling more guns, as in all types to include rifles and such. I'm not sure on that in regards to handguns alone. It's hard/impossible to find concrete numbers but generally speaking it appears off some articles that Glock far exceeds HK sales in the handgun arena.

Not that any of that shit matters anyway, but just for the sake of arguing...

You say countless, which if you're talking all guns...again...maybe. It's hard to say, but for the HK USP it's not THAT many...

...I'll admit that Wikipedia is not the end all, but it's one of the easier sources at the moment.

Here is Glock's similar section which far exceeds the HK's...

I'm not sure how you can promise anything, since you don't know. I've looked and can't find sales numbers for either company. I thought by chance maybe there was a comparison - but there is not. I think in the handgun market Glock would at least be more popular and sell more units. For all I know the EBIDA/overall margin for HK is better, but we're not debating who is more profitable.

Yes, Glock owner as well as Ruger and Colt for handguns. I'd own an HK as well w/o issue. Just debating for the sake of debating and trying to clarify exactly what your point is on this matter.

As far as sales are concerned, I would say in our area that glock most defiantly has more sales. Working at the range I have so far never seen an H&K come in. However, I have seen several hundred glocks.

Granted that means nothing, just sharing.

                    • There is no way glock controls 60% of the handgun market. No way.

Need to find someone bored enough to do all the sales stats for the various brands.

Glock actually does control 60-65% of the Police Handgun Market in the United States.

If you count world wide, glock actually probably does control 50-60% Of the Handgun Market. If you include MILITARY and Police use worldwide.

Even now, the Beretta is going to be phased out of the US Military and the Military is looking at Glock to replace the Beretta.

Now gun market in the US Civilian world, thats different. Glock probably has about 35-40% of the market.

of the POLICE handgun market. In civilian world, maybe 20%, maybe. My evidence is less than 2% of my collection is glock, so that's proof.
