but in this picture, this person got 5 squib rounds in a row???
luckily for them they were a consistently bad reloader because if any of those rounds 2 through 5 went like they should, that could have banana peeled that barrel... actually since that is a short barrel, explode rather than split.www.hppmotorsports.com

That's a really heavy barrel so it took it. Cylinder gap on revolvers is a little more forgiving on pressures in that situation.
Edit: Not bulging the barrel, I know it's junk now, but I mean if you caught it after the squib.

Yes, it can be "fixed." The bullet can be tapped back through the barrel into the chamber.
Most squibs, like if it's just a primer and no powder, won't have enough power to actually get the bullet into the barrel enough to cycle (in a semi-auto, the slide won't cycle, and when you manually cycle it, you won't be able to get the slide closed because the bullet prevents the round from fully chambering; in a revolver, the cylinder won't rotate).Originally posted by BroncojohnnyHOORAY ME and FUCK YOU!

I have had an AK squib on me before. It short cycled so I checked the barrel.
Sure enough, I tapped the round out with a cleaning rod and it kept shooting.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

The only one I've ever seen is a Glock 21. We were young and dumb, and a good friend thought he had a misfire, did not clear the barrel, racked the slide, and created carnage. I cannot find the pic, but I'm sure I have one somewhere. It just buckled the polymer handle and you could see daylight between the handle and slide. Sucked.
The gunsmith that he took it to swore that he would have been hurt bad if the gun was metal instead of polymer, but I think there are too many variables. He's lucky. He was not hurt at all.
This was about 1992 or so, I think...sigpic18 F150 Supercrew - daily
