    its made by the same company, the encore is just a beefed up contender so it can handle stuff like the .308. Its a 15" barrel .308, I had the same gun in 30-06 and honestly it was hard not to think about what was going to happen when I pulled the trigger, the 308 kicks but its not unmanagable, sure is fun though

      Yeah now that you mention it has a 15" barrel I would presume that makes it much easier to handle. How does the case extract? Like a citori?

          I've never shot one before, not familiar with how the action works. So is that round snug in the chamber? does it have a sliding block to engage the back of the case? I guess you just reach in there and pull it out.

            yeah,you pull back on the trigger guard and the gun breaks open,when it comes open the extractor slides out and you just grab the round.

                            I'm ordering mine here in about an hour once my FFL gets his info over to SG...great...so much for that 20" SS Bull upper for my new AR build...

                            I just hope it's not typical Century Arms crap, since these are mainly from Bulgarian parts kits I hope they are reliable.

                                Pistol grip not so comfy so swapped it out for one a little fatter and ergo shaped to, on the plus side it is a touch longer than the AK47 we have so its a little better fit on me.
