What is it and what's up with those front sights? Almost looks like a bayonet mount.Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.

Its a Roth Steyr:
The end cap is essential to the operation of the pistol. The barrel and chamber float together until the barrel unlocks after being cammed by both the barrel and locking block in the chamber section. Every part is magnificently machined on these, and they are considered the first modern striker fired pistol due to the pre-cocked yet double action function of the trigger.
Habsburg cavalryman would carry three. One sinched to the horse, one on the saddle, and a reserve piece on their body. I found some 8mm Steyr and couldn't pass it up!Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

I didn't watch the video, but was it the 1949 version? Only 36 I ever saw had the weirdly bent bolt handle.
Edit: just watched the video and did a little googling. That's gotta be the 49 semi auto. Nice bayonet work by the way. Thanks for making me think that I need another surplus rifle.Last edited by Jimbo; 10-04-2015, 01:29 PM.
