Thanks, its all as an A2 would have been except for the A1 profile pencil barrel. The only thing Colt on it is the upper, the rest is random stuff grabbed on the cheap

Thank you very much. It is just a Boyd's Tacticool that I bought unfinished. I used the same process CJ did on his M44 with the stain and lacquer. A little 2000 grit sanding to smooth it out and then a rubbing compound followed by a polishing compound. It was my first attempt at finishing a stock and there are a few flaws in it, but it turned out pretty nice. Thanks again for the compliments, it seems like it took forever to get all the freakin' parts in.
The rate of fire on the grease gun was damn fun and it was just insanely easy to control. I would love to have one, but I just can't justify paying that much for a gun that cost $20 to make.
The Sterling was also a ton of fun and damn easy to control (more so than an uzi or a sten gun). I think if I but a new machine gun, it may just be a sterling!
