Hell, I can't remember the last time I bought a new gun. I ain't funding nobody but various dealers and auction houses.
But how fucking retarded is it to have a single action, striker fired pistol with a decocker? Much less a large, exposed decocker that you can bump and render the gun not ready to use? You would think an engineer would say "the fuck is this, get that out of here"... but then you remember its a Turkish firearm.
Also when you see a disproportionate amount of mysterious, sterilized roller delayed blowback firearms showing up in Libya and around the Middle East that just so happen to have stamping flaws and marks associated with MKE silah fabrikasi firearms, and then realize MKE has a hand in Canik, this makes me raise an eyebrow.
All this just so happens to occur in a nation that booed the Paris moment of silence recently (while chanting allahu snackbar).

It is a bit odd, I'll give you that. BUT, there is no accidental bumping of the decocker. It is flush with the slide and requires a very deliberate push (7 to 10 lbs of force) to actuate. I did not want a DA striker fired pistol. I don't like the trigger on ANY of them...simple as that.
