My son learning to use irons on lemons at about 20 yds with a rifle bolt .22 that was my great grandfathers gun that my grandfather, father, and all my uncles learned to shoot with. I had to have it repaired because some of the hand made parts that had been used to repair it in the distant past had failed, thanks to Gunmasters in Plano for that =). Best guess is that it is between 70-80 years old and still knocking turtles off logs at nearly 75 yards.
This is the pile of casings we were able to find from the day .22, .223, 5.45, and even some 7.62, probably about 1/2 what he shot lol. Could a 7 year old have any more fun!

Other than the front sight post being wayyy to low (my shots were hitting a foot above where I was aiming) it is perfect. No ftf or fte. I am going to buy a cheapo $10 front post adjustment tool.
