              I had the ATACR and it was nice but to damn big. Sold it off and this popped up in opportunity. I bought it mainly for the collector value and because it was cheaper than other F1 scopes.

              My rifle should be in next week.

                Nightforce scopes in general are large but built like tanks. That particular F1 should hold value pretty well. What rifle are you having built?

                            I have 2500 rounds of .308 match ammo. I figure I'll burn that out then maybe do something else. Ammo availability was the biggest reason.

                              Nothing wrong with that. If you are running the 168 gr stuff you might have problems getting to 1000. There is nothing wrong with the 308 it will teach you to read the wind a lot better than some calibers.
