  • Range Day

So I just got back from Winchester gallery, having some fun with the 22/45 and the Charter Explorer II.
The guy in the lane next to me was shooting what sounded like a howitzer. Turns out it was a Desert Eagle, spitting out these:

I still managed to do ok with my dinky little 22/45. This was at 21', shooting one of the small, corner targets.

    Pics of the Explorer II:

21'??? Don't you mean 7 yards? I have never seen a gun range state distances in feet, is that the way winchester does it?

I've seen it both ways depending on the range. Winchester does it in feet.

Yeah, the Explorer II is a cool looking, but not great shooting pistol. It's a pistol (HUGE for a pistol) version of the AR-7. It's not particularly accurate beyond about 30 feet and they have a tendency to spontaneously go full auto, which mine has done on occasion. I picked it up back in the late 80's for $25 and have had it since.
