    My build (so far)

    I've got the Spikes Tactical stripped lower (with Punisher skull).

    I've got the lower parts kit.

    The Magpul CTR (milspec) stock in OD green, with buffer, tube, spring, castle nut and retainer should be here sometime tomorrow.

    I'm taking the steps to SBR it in the next two weeks.

    After that, I'm going to start saving and doing homework on uppers. Not exactly sure what I want, but I figure I'll have some time to figure it out.

    You are forgetting something. You need to add about 150lbs of body weight. This is a requirement of people rocking guns with punisher insignias


    But yeah, SBRs are cool looking. People just dont think about how ultra-loud the fuckers are when building them up. I hate it at competition when a guy is running one, because even under the roofed area with hearing protection they are still super loud.

      Yea...like DOCHTR said. Very loud and obnoxious when shooting in a group. That being said...I should have one built by next year. Just gotta get my DMR build out of the way.

        This time next year, it shall be suppressed!

        I've handled a few, so I understand how ungodly loud they are.

        EDIT: I guess I'm doing it wrong then....i've actually lost 14 lbs in the last month, and aiming for more.

              Posted those in the wrong order, but ya'll get the idea.

              Halfway there, now just need to start the SBR process, and then while I wait, start shopping for an upper.
