Got my reloading kit! I've read a lot of posts on here regarding reloading and go figure a mustang site would be where I learned quite most of what I know. Ended up going with the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Select kit from Cabelas. Need to get dies/powder/brass and all that still. I plan on doing .40 and 223/556 to start off with. Hopefully I'll be shooting my own rounds here really soon.

Any advice for a reloading newb?

Well, there is plenty of knowledge in here for sure. .40 is a great cartridge to start with. Rifle is a bigger step as you need several more tools. How you picked up any components yet to start?

I just bought 1k once fired cleaned brass and 1k Raineer 180gr PHP Bullets for $170. Primers are like $32/1k at the gun show. I use Vitavhouri N320 powder. It's hard to find but my favorite. Titegroup also works pretty good, and is available at Gun Master in Plano.

Awesome! Thanks guys. @Cj all I have is the press, case trimmer, scale etc. I need to get a workbench to put it all on and the powder and all that. I'm hoping to get going on it next week sometime. Pretty excited to get some .40 done and delve further into my fire arm hobby. Currently accumulating parts for a .300 blk build so I'll be looking to load that as well
