Ar15 Timney trigger or good trigger job?

I'm wondering if the Timney trigger group is worth the money for an AR15 in 5.56. I've given my trigger group a pretty good polishing and set the break point to my liking. (I didnt touch the trigger face angle. I used a longer grip bolt to adjust the trigger pull.)
I like my trigger now. How ever, is the Timney THAT much better? Or any other trigger group for that matter?
Gun usage is for fun and never competition.

They're good triggers. You might also look at Geissele triggers. A lot of people like those. Whatever you do, don't get a, "light," hammer spring.

I've heard a great many things about both. However, I still question, for recreational usage, are these $200+ trigger groups really all that much better than a good "trigger job"?

IMO they are worth the money. You just can't beat the crisp break of a good aftermarket trigger. You also won't get a 3-4 lb trigger pull with a worked over factory parts kit trigger group without going to a lighter spring and compromising ignition reliability.
I have a 3.5 lb Geiselle SSA-E in my LR-308 and a 4 lb Timney in my 6.8 and they both feel great. Just depends on whether you like the feel of a single stage or 2 stage.

They'll make trigger pull lighter, and more crisp, increasing accuracy. Increased accuracy makes for increased enjoyment. Increased enjoyment means you'll shoot more often.
