    .300 Blackout SBR build

    After 11 months, I have this built. PSA lower and LPK. CORE15 upper receiver, CMMG 8.5" 1:7 twist barrel, Samson Evolution rail, and Ice Arms compensator. The compensator was $100 less and 3 ounces lighter than the Noveske Flaming Pig. Last thing to order is a SAS Arbiter Titanium suppressor.

                  I'm not sure if the anodizing was just heavy around the holes where the take down pins go or what but I actually had to use the hammer from my punch set to get them all the way in. I'm thinking I might need to take a file to the inside of the holes. For being an inexpensive upper/lower, the tolerance is fucking tight!

                    Could be that the tolerance is loose but some of the clearances are tight.

                            Did you make the rear take down pin detent and spring mod? You may need to pull a coil or two and reinstall the set screw.

                              No sir, I'm using standard take down pins. I took a look at them before I left for work and the anodizing didn't look like it was thicker around that area. Even had to use a hammer and punch to get the pins out
