I picked up this New Frontier arms poly lower about 6 months ago. I spent a good deal of time cleaning it up, primarily the mag well so that my p-mags would release like they should. I need to pick up a battle mag and see how well they work.
As I was cleaning the lower up, I decided to build it into a pistol. The low weight of the lower I felt would lend itself to a fun platform.
I plan to have it finished up by the end of the year. I had planned on picking up a pistol buffer from fortweb.com however, after they didn't respond to any communication I went in search of another option. I liked the fortweb unit for the gusseted mount for strength. I ultimately decided on a Quentin defense buffer tube. A look at their website and they were no longer listed. A phone call explained why. They are dedicating their machining ability to lowers due to demand. The guy I spoke with found one in the warehouse to sell me. This thing seems pretty beefy. Anyway, on to the pictures. Once my new end plate arrives, I will put the lower together for good. It is. Cheap tapco with a sling loop.
