Which dies do I need for my .280 Ackley cases? I presume I need neck sizing dies, and rely on fire-forming to take care of the rest, buy I'm willing to be wrong. Anyone have any insight?

I also consider Redding to be the highest quality dies available now. The best dies in my opinion Pacific Durachrome Deluxe. Those are magnificent dies in my opinion."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Like dee said, neck size a few times then full length. You need to get a case gauge though to make sure you measure head space each time. AI cases have a steeper shoulder so they grow out of spec faster than standard calibers."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Dug the custom comps out last night and will see if I can get them off to you by this weekend, if I can find a box. They aren't as long and sleek as the Hornady Amax and unless a lot of info has popped up lately not many are using them. That could change though since Hornady put their 162's on hold for a year so people are going to everything else, namely Berger but they are a bit more expensive."It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand!"
