Why? That stuff is junk? M855 is markedly less accurate than M193.

Shoot, I loaded up some 62gr FMJ last weekend, shot under 1" at 100yds out of my 20" BBL 1:8 AR.

I was suprised at the accuracy, but quickly fell in love with that load.

              23.5gr H335
              2.25 OAL
Mixed Brass, Mixed Primers (Tula and #400's)

if you're shooting for accuracy try a 77gr sierra matchking. Any surplus should be able to shoot a 1" group at 100 yards.

And I thought that was shooting pretty straight....

I have some 69gr and 77gr sitting at the house...I just would prefer to use those sparingly opposed to the 62's.

What’s a good MOA to be happy with as far as precision? I know a 1" group will be sufficient in a hunting situation, but I shoot a lot more bench than I hunt.

It depends on the rifle, barrel, bolt truing, etc. My sabre barrel ar would group sub 1/4" moa at 100 yards with 77gr bthp sierra matchkings. I would bet some 55gr would group better.

WTF, isn't Sabre the company that had all their shit seized by the ATF and FBI?
