  • Finally! Things are starting to look up...

Finally got my shipment of CCI large rifle primers today!
May start doing some .308 load development this weekend...

I'm just waiting on some goddamn powder.

I have 1 lb of AA2460 that I'm going to use... Not the best powder for optimal .308 loads, but it will work for now.

        I need 8lbs of 'Lil-Gun, 60lbs of WC844, and some Alliant 2400.

It's probably fine as long as the bullet is of the lighter for caliber type. Varget is my go to powder for any 308 based cartridge.

Yeah, just loading up some 150gr SST's for my Tikka T3. The factory Hornady 150gr SST ammo is the most accurate factory load i've found for my Tikka. Looking to get even more accurate with some handloads...

Maybe you'll find an accurate node with that powder.

I used those and 165 Accubonds in my 308. Still use both in my
06' and get same point of impact.

I wasnt a fan of the 150gr sst.

Had some bad hits with them the year before due to a bad scope mount. The just splattered. This year i shot everything with a bow, and will for the rest of my life as long as i can pull one back.

I'm not a huge fan of ballistic tips either they aren't consistent enough for me. Bow hunting is fun but I like rifle just as much and pistol hunting even more.

I may have found a source for powder and bullets in large quantities, but I won't release said info until I get mine!
