There is a rumor(take it at that) that a gov't agency made a call to some of the larger distributors(CDNN included) and had them halt/slow down online firearms sales following the shooting. I don't know how much truth there is to that but I don't put anything past a gov't concerned about its citizens arming themselves.

A lot of the smaller sites probably aren't setup to handle the increased demand that has placed on them since this rush began.
