  • 50 bmg reloading

Anyone on here reload .50 bmg? Looking at reloading some brass I have but am undecided on what press to get.

I bought the Lee then discovered it uses only 1.25" dies whereas the industry standard seems to be 1.5" which everyone else uses.

So I'm undecided between the RCBS and the Hornady. The for dies I'll be going CH4D. Anyone here have any first hand experience with either one? How hard is resizing with these monsters?

Anyone here used the Dillon? Worth the $1k?

People seem to like the RCBS AmmoMaster for .50 BMG. I think you can't go wrong with Dillon but that is a lot of cash.
The Redding Ultramag press might be a good option too for the money; not positive it fits .50 BMG though. Their precision micrometer dies are badass. My brother has a set for .338 Lapua and I was impressed with the quality. The mechanical advantage of the lever makes resizing big calibers relatively easy.
