  • Die recommendation

I am starting to purchase everything so that I can start reloading. I have already bought the RCBS Rock Chucker, but I am looking for a recommendation for which dies I should get. I will pretty much be using my RCBS to exclusively reload .308.

Should I get a basic 3-die setup like this:

Or, should I consider investing the money in the competition set:

Is the competition set worth the additional money and, if so, what benefit does it have over the regular setup? I understand that the basic set would suffice, but what is recommended for somebody looking to get the most out of their reloading setup as well as the most out of a learning experience?

The first set is more than enough for any average shooter. The comp set is for people who are looking for that extra little bit in accuracy that most average shooters can't shoot good enough to notice, myself included.
