Ruger 10/22 Magnum (again)

I want a mag fed .17HMR semi-auto.

If it wasn't for other projects going on, I'd have one of these uppers right now. I have about 900 rounds of HMR waiting to be shot.

They get stuck because they are necked down, the expand more and contract less, hence the getting stuck problem. A lot of people want a mag fed .17 HMR, they are still wanting.

I think VQ and MRI make them, but hell no I'm not paying what they want for those.

Very cool build idea.

I considered making a short barrel hunting gun with it for varmints... VQ does make a high cap 10/22 mag magazine... it's just expensive as shit in typical VQ fashion:

Holy crap, I just bought a couple of 30round mags for my M1 and the were less than 8% of that price, lol.
