Still considering building a Ruger 10/22 magnum. I think I can probably build one for around $500 or so. Typically they sell between 800-1000. So it's worth the time invested, but I'm debating whether or not I really need one. It just seems like a real fun project to build a familiar action and end up with a gun that's has a little more potential then a paper puncher. Anyone here ever fired a 10/22 magnum that could lend some insight on how they perform?

$28.95 Drill jig

$13.95 Barrel V-Block kit
$59.19 Trigger Group
$576.09 If you have none of these parts laying around. Still a bargain for the only semi auto .22WMR I know of. You'll just need a stock and a magazine."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

What kind of a stock? Will the Hoque overmold fit?
How about I give you $500 to build one for me as the test bed.
Oh, we could thread the barrel to a standard M4 flash hider and mount my G5 to it. I wouldn't think a standard .22lr suppressor would handle the gas volume difference.Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Their jigs seem to work really well, pretty quality if you ask me. here is a construction of their 10/22 receiver.
