I considered making a short barrel hunting gun with it for varmints... VQ does make a high cap 10/22 mag magazine... it's just expensive as shit in typical VQ fashion:

I would like to build a 10/17HMR..."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

yeah, I know all the MFG's recalled all the semi-auot .17hmr's, but I think it can work given the right parts. Heavier bolt/buffer, better barrel etc. On something like a 10/22 where it's easy to change barrels, barrel life/wear shouldn't be an issue/concern."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

No, i actually mean HMR. HMR is a necked down 22WMR case right?. And HM2 is a necked down 22lr case?. I want a mag fed .17HMR semi-auto."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

While we are wanting....
I want a Ruger .357 mag, mag fed semi-auto - Like the Deerfield carbines!"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

I don't know if you can use it but.... I have 1 composite and 1 all wood 10/22 stock. Y'all are more than welcome to either. Gratis. Well, we may have to kill some barley pops.Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.
