That was popular for a while until all the manufacturers discovered it doesn't work. yeah, I know all the MFG's recalled all the semi-auot .17hmr's, but I think it can work given the right parts. What causes the .17HMR cases to get stuck but not the 22WMR? Same length, OD, etc... Higher pressures from .17? They get stuck because they are necked down, the expand more and contract less, hence the getting stuck problem.
