USC to UMP conversion

Hey Doc, do they make a USC .45 magazine with a capacity higher than 10? A friend of my dads has the USC and he can't find a single one, told him I would look around. Figured I would ask you first since you know more about these HK's.

They do but they are really long an odd. Most people who want a higher capacity just run UMP mags.

In order for him to run UMP mags, he would have to do the conversion correct?

Where would I go to find these higher capacity USC mags?

Never used their USC mags, but I have not had much luck with their magazines for other guns.

I called the NFA Branch to do a status check and the lady said that my form 1 should be approved in July. I submitted it 12/27.

I sent a form 4 and 1 back at the end of october and still have nothing.

That's good news. I guess I should call again. I called in February and they said they both went to pending on 1/7.

Mine were received a few days before Christmas.

So slightly specific question here, but with the whole "intent to build" thing, does that prevent you from getting the barrel shortened or purchasing a shorter barrel for that thing until after you have the stamp?

I mean I figure I can go out and buy all of the short barrels that I want, but as soon as I have a receiver with a stock for one of those barrels does that equal intent to build? Just curious how that whole process works or if you're able to have the barrel sitting around and once your form 4 comes back you can just throw the barrel on and go.
