But their presses just don't seem as fluid as the Dillons, and their warranty doesn't compare. Redding is another company that makes great products. I use their carbide dies for all my high volume pistol. I've got 75k through my Dillon and it's still so tight I can't even measure play anywhere in it. Only thing I've broke was my powder charge safety arm, which literally worn through a 1/8" steel rod. Dillon sent me a new one free, along with a refurb kit whenever I might need it.
I like Lee products, but they don't have a lifetime warranty like most others (RCBS, Dillon, Hornady, etc) so I stay away for that reason. I love RCBS too. never used their presses but their dies are great. Had a 223 resize/deprime die that was probably ~40 years old and got a case stuck. Sent it in and they sent me a brand new one and all I paid was shipping there.

I think if I get a new press it'll be a 550. I have no need for a huge press like the 650. Plus I really wanna get one of these for the 550

you and me both... my local gun supply has a lyman power trimmer for 100 bucks though. The action of using a press is so much better than the force you have to keep supplying on the lyman.... but the dillon trimmer only works on a few cases though, right?

You also need to run a vacuum on the die whenever you're trimming. Pretty loud.

Oh yeah, that would get old fast. Even though Dillon's manual states you need to wear eye and ear protection at all times...

I use a Lee Single stage. Next one i think will be a Dillon for .223. I like the single stage for making precise loads.

I will have to ask him.

I have a set of Pacific Durachrome .357 dies in carbide and they are beautiful dies. Probably the nicest set I've seen.

I've been using a Dillon SDB for over 15 years. It's fast and reliable. The only downside is the brand specific dies and catching my thumb in it once in a great while.
