The ones worth a shit are the butler creek steel lips magazines. I've tried others, and they will work for a while, but eventually fail.

Well, I can't speak for todays prices, but I was pretty surprised at how cheap Cabelas had them (and that they even carried them). You can expect them to be around $30.00 each, There was a big sale on midwayusa a few years ago and I got them for $25 shipped each.

midway has them for $29.99 again - about normal: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=310909

And if you own a 10/22, you NEED one of these: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=540353

After using it for a few months all my friends picked one up also. They work great - had mine for about 2 years or so and I've run probably 35,000 rounds through it.

        edit: http://www.lg-outdoors.com/proddetai...BUT%20MO112562

$17... and the website seems legit from all the reviews I could find.

              I have some of these-

IMO they are the best 10/22 mag available, but they are pricey.

Lol yea the aftermarket for the 10/22 is comparable to that of the fox body mustang.

If by that statement you mean that you end up with something costing 3x the amount of the original purchase by the time you're happy with it, then yes. It's exactly like a fox body.
