I know somebody who has a .50 upper on a plum crazy (Composite) lower and hasnt had any issues

As per the OP is that composite lower or just duracoated. I suspect duracoat since its color matched with the upper

Im fairly certain the upper and lower were both duracoat.

It wasn't POF. I can't remember the brand, but it started with a "C" lol
