If you don't want to build your own, Cabelas has a $599 model for their grand opening in Allen this weekend. I'd imaging Ft Worth would offer the same deal.

Dallas Gun show had Stag and DPMS AR-15's for $695 with a case included. That dealer is usually also at the Big Town show (this weekend)
