Those SR556 carbines are neat looking guns and I have heard good things. Ruger has also just announced that they will begin selling the upper seperate, so that may be an option for you Jose.

Also, if you are in the market for a piston 223, check out the sig 556. My Dad bought one not too long ago and it has been an excellent gun that I shot in competition one time just to see how it performed. I was very satisfied, and Bachman has certified pre-owned ones for $799!

My dad got his at the last Market Hall show. I would assume that they come and go at Bachman, as certified pre-owned stuff usually does.

I think the best bet might be to call and ask what the deal is with them.
