      I have that same stock and I like it. Good price. You'll eventually change everything on it so don't buy anything fancy.

          The Ruger 10/22 is the AR-15 of the .22 Long Rifle World.

          You want a new barrel, its really easy to swap out.
          You want a ligher trigger, there are kits and complete trigger groups for it.
          You want aftermarket stocks .. they have them.
          You want it to look like a AR-15, AK, or M1 Carbine, they have kits for it.
          You want Different accessories, theres a ton of them out there.

          You go to any gunshow, any gunstore, etc... they can get you what you want for a Ruger 10/22.

                          That's what I was needing CJ. Since I've never shopped for a .22 of any sort I wasn't aware Ruger made the 10/22.

                              Are the parts made for these things interchangeable? If I purchased a plane jane 10/22 and later bought a nicer stock, could I just take old stock off and put the new one on?
