  • Two Amazing 1911 Tack Drivers

Went to the range today with two new 1911s that I had not shot yet. First was a Les Baer SRP in hard chrome. Second was a Colt Special Combat Government in hard chrome.

I really did not think I could shoot this well but these guns are amazing!!! I shot the tightest groups I think I ever have.

Nothing like a good 1911. My dad's Gold Cup with some work done to it was always my favorite pistol to shoot.
Atlantic Blue '00 - '03 Cobra motor and TKO600, solid axle, full MM suspension

I have to agree! Everytime I let someone shoot my kimber , they walked away amazed at how good it shot. A properlly setup 1911 is hard to beat...pretty cool for a gun designed 100 years ago!

See, that's why I only shoot my Glock for my handgun. That way when I shoot one of these higher end guns, it just makes me feel better about my shooting.
