Better than Brown bear, but I believe it is corrosive.

Sounds like a very good deal. I paid about the same for 400 rds of American Eagle 55gr FMJ recently.

Can anyone verify the corrosiveness? I'd really like to buy a case even though I currently do not own an AR right now (looking for one right now though).

May want to shoot some through the gun your're planning on buying before you buy a bunch. Not all ARs like the steel cased ammo very much. Pretty sure the bear ammo is non corrosive.

Everything I can find on Google says it is a non corrosive.

Doesn't it say non-corrosive in the OP? I didn't think they were corrosive.

Silver bear is nicer but their step down, brown bear is some dirty stuff. You guys might be right though, I believe its non corrosive, just dirty. I got ahead of myself with the other post.

So is the price a good deal? Anything better for the same amount of money? Don't mind it being dirty ammo but corrosive I'd probably pass.

The primers are non-corrosive and this ammo is fine for plinking. Just get ready to clean your rifle and face afterwards. Also be cautious of stuck cases. This steel ammo likes to tack itself inside the chamber after a few hundred rounds of fun.\

It's decent ammo at a decent price. I try to shop for brass whenever possible...but you can't go wrong at that price.

I'm going to say Cheaper than Dirt. Looks like their format and the price is about right.

Good call. Didn't really look too hard. ;-)

I always throw out AIM's name when people ask where to order from...except for ammo. Shipping is pretty high and you can get the same price at cheaper than dirt usually.
