I was at the range the other day teaching my mom how to shoot and I looked down the range for a sec and a guy had a 45, finger on the trigger, sniffing the barrel then looking down it. It was not open either so I can assume it still had one in the chamber.

Were they .223 or .22? I went to the one in Ft Worth a few weeks ago and anything sub$600 was .22. Supposedly the Mckinney location had some synthetic stocked mini 14's for $599, don't know if they still do though.

I drove 60 freaking miles to get that Ruger Mini-14. They had 7 on a Friday, I showed up Saturday morning about an hour and a half after they opened and they were all gone.

I should have grown a brain and held one back, but alas...I didn't. They for sure don't have anymore.

And lately, online hasnt had hardly anything as far as low cost .223. The actual Ft. Worth location hasn't had much either.

I never am in McKinney but going to make a catalog purchase they had a limited selection on the low cost stuff and online you pay shipping. I might as well go to Cabela's or something. They need to reorder some .223 so I can stock up for less money.
