Bushmaster ACR?

Anyone have 1 or had any experiance with one?

Im visiting the mainland right now and at the local Gander Mountian they have a ACR Black Basic for $2400 (yeah expensive!) lol anyways I really do like the gun and wouldnt mind shelling out the extra cash if its worth it.

It isn't. You could build 10x the rifle for that money. Actually, I could build 2 rifles better than than an acr for that money.

Not so much what I want more when I want and in which order.

Im about to leave on another deployment so I plan on picking up a few new toys when I get back. Im hoping by then Bushmaster starts thinking right and sells the ACR cheaper or I can find a good deal on one below 2000.

I enjoy collecting and shooting, I have a few AR15's that Ive built. Ive always like the Sig 551's and the Sig556 Classic is a cheaper way to have one.
My weapon I use for work is a Colt M4 with a M203.

The Bushmaster cause I have been a fan of the gun since it was the Magpul Masada and from the reviews it seems to be a well put together weapon.

Just wanted to see if anyones shot or owned one.

I've shot both, they are decent weapons, but in ntt opinion they are for people who can't.build one themselves. Whether its a piston system or a caliber theres nothing they have that you can't build. If the reason you want an acr is to have an acr, there's no arguing with that.

Dont get me wrong, I love a well built AR. Im in the works of making a SBR AR similar to the SBR Troy AR-15.
