Really no special tools needed, maybe just a small punch. Theres quite a few vids on you tube on how to."You don't so much drive it, more like poke it with a sharp stick and channel the fury when you piss it off."

Watch the vids on youtube and make sure you use the rubber band on the grip safety like they show in the videos. If the replace does not work right away, you may have to "sand" down the mainspring housing. I did not expect this since it did not happen in the examples I had watched. But the mainspring housing controls how far out the grip safety can go and if it does not let it go far enough out then the safety is always off like it is being held in. So I had to file/emory cloth mine down a fair amount. Caught me off guard but it was not really hard. Took me a little while to figure out what was wrong and I took off the rubber band and took the whole thing apart. It all goes back together but it was more than I had planned to do and it was not necessary. So don't take the rubber band off unless the mainspring housing is there to hold the grip safety.
