  • CHL expires

My CHL expires on March 13th, if I don't get in a class before then, will it change my renewal process?

    Stole it from this site...

....not having much luck collaborating it. I'd also stop by and/or call wherever you'd take the class to verify whatever is posted up here.

    10) How long do I have to renew my concealed weapons permit if it is already expired?

You have one year after expiration of a Texas Concealed Handgun License to renew it. You may not carry once your license has expired, even if you've taken the renewal course and are waiting for your new license to arrive. If your license has been expired for more than one year, you must start over as a new original-license applicant.

No. As long as your license has not been expired for more than 1 year, you need only complete a 4- to 6-hour class for your first and second renewal.

      That should be fairly definitive.

What concerns me is that I can't remember this shit for the one I have.
