New Glocks

I like 1911's although I don't personally like to shoot them. I've never liked Glocks, although they serve a purpose. They are just uncomfortable and blocky.

Glocks always go bang just like AKs and ARs. A lot of other pistols are picky about ammo, grip strength and magazines, not a Glock. I have and shoot a variety of pistols but if I’m going to arm a bunch of neophytes, I want a pile of glocks and AKs or ARs.

Glocks are great guns once you spend a few hundred bucks and update the controls.

I had a 23 (4" .40) for a while, and don't hate them at all. I just shoot better with the comparable XD, so I sold the Glock. Granted, this was over 10 years ago, before the adjustable grips and all, so my challenges with it may no longer be an issue..

I personally do not like any of the extended controls for Glocks but I'll tolerate the extended slide release.

I too like CZs. I need to check out an FN sometime. If you hate Glocks XDs are quote the bargain and are quite reliable too. Reliability is my primary firearm concern.
