Exactly. Even if im still shooting ammo that was 8 bucks a box from years ago.

I've got a box of projectiles and a pound of powder waiting. Just need dies and primers.

I've got about 600 factory rounds left to shoot.

I dont blast alot of handgun ammo. I also only have the one .45. If i took more than one im sure i could blast away. I shoot 7 and shoot my rifle. shoot another 7 and so on. I usually shoot a box of 50 a range trip.

I just bought it 4 months ago , but you are correct , I am a idiot! I really need to start . I heard 45 is easy to reload so I guess it would be good for a beginner

I've got a couple hundred brass cases that need to be reloaded. I haven't bought the equipment yet so I'm holding off on shooting .45 for a little while unless someone else wants to buy the ammo. I went through over $100 of factory ammo to get it broken in.

Oh and $ .75 a round for paper punching?! Are they gold lined? Mine averaged about $.40 a round.

Yeah I wasn't thinking when I got it and bought ammo at a gun store in Joshua , the only place open that day I know I can get it cheaper now . But I'm still shooting it and will be buying in bulk at the next gun show

Call me lazy, but I'll let someone else do all that BS. If one of you wants to reload for me at a slightly lower cost than Walmart etc., I'll pay shipping.

If you're all the way down there, do yourself a favor and start hitting up Pigeon Road in Stephenville. They actually know shit, and they're a distributor for the area, so they have pretty good prices.

If you dont shoot often its really only worth it for accuracy and another gun related hobby.

When i got my dies i got a 100 hp projectiles from hornady. Just had to pay s&h 6 bucks.

If i already had 45 acp dies. It would mean that my first 100 rounds of .45 cost me 6-7 cents a load.

If i just went not searching for deals, for 1500 rounds .21 cents a round.

It can be done for much cheaper than that. Going lead instead of fmj. cheaper primers, powder, and so forth.

A quick gun broker check. You could get a 1000 rounds of wolf/tula for the same amount as it would cost to make a round home brewed for your gun. And you could shoot 500 rounds more for the same coin.

I've been reading up on the Range Officer and now I must have one.

For the price, it's an awesome gun. My first day with it was getting 7-shot groups under 2" when I had never shot any 1911. After I got the sights zeroed it hit where I aimed, but I'm sure i don't do it justice and it's more accurate than I am. It's a little on the heavy side but I like it that way. I feel like I have better control that way. Yeah, no ambidextrous features or night sights but you get the match grade barrel and trigger. It works for me.

Plus it looks awesome next to my new RRA AR-15.
