There are the LCRs as well, and you can get that in 9mm. The trigger pull is long, but pretty damn smooth. I like mine better than some Smith's that I've shot, and those cost a lot more $$$

Ive had my wife shoot all kinds of 9mm but she preferred the subcompact mod2 xd...there is just something about the ergonomics of that gun she loves

I put a springer precision trigger in it to shorten the pre-travel, it also took the trigger from about a 6lb pull to 4lb....She really loves that gun now

Id trade my wife for a new gun, seems like a pretty solid deal.

The plain LC9 is no longer in production. Ruger only makes the LC9S now.

Taurus PT111 Millennium G2, about $209 now. Mine was awesome, trigger came back a bit far but everything else was great. Then the lip that holds the large return spring broke off in pieces while shooting it until it locked up with less than 400 rounds (maybe less than 300). Found where this has happened to others. After 90 days it costs about $65 to send it back to taurus

Don't they have a lifetime warranty?

Thanks for the info fellas. I'll call a few places to see if they have these in stock.

                        LC9s
                        LCRs
                        XDs
                        Sig 238

I'll see what revolvers they have. I kind of like the idea of a revolver for the same reason mentioned above. A friend of hers was telling her about a conceal purse that will warranty the repair should the woman find the need to shoot through it. I was immediately thinking in that exact scenario how she'd have one shot before she had a jam.

My wife has tiny hands, she liked the m&p compact a lot.

Don't trust a whole lot of men either if they haven't trained to do so.
