Not everyone sticks their booger hook immediately on the trigger like you apparently do. Based on all of your other posts, I shouldn't be surprised.

You've never seen a foreign object pull a trigger in a pocket? Like perhaps the cop who had his shirt go in between his trigger and his holster? Perhaps maybe you bump a desk corner just right?

Who said anything about reaching in there and just popping one off?

Jesus fuck some of you people amaze me. At least you tards are easy to identify. You all stand in the same corner.

I would at least use a pocket holster. It adds minimal heft to the gun while covering the trigger. I have one for my LCR, havn't checked to see how it fits the 43 though but I'm not really a pocket carry person either.

Nah, man. Then you cant shoot them in the face from your pocket. Just throw it in your pocket and keep your "booger hook" off of it. It will be safe.

No, as a matter of fact I haven't. Why would you keep anything else in that pocket? I bet I can find way more videos and articles about internet warriors shooting themselves from the holster than people shooting themselves from the pocket. As with anything else, yes it is possible, but after 15 or so years of pocket carry I like it. Just remember, you started this attack, we are merely defending our position with things we have vetted.

Where did I say anything about keeping something else in that pocket?

I don't have anything wrong with pocket carry, I just wouldn't do it with anything without an external safety.

**Edit. I can see where foreign object could mean something in the pocket. That's not what I meant, but I can see how it could be taken that way.

Just my opinion, go with what you are comfortable with. Hell I remember not feeling comfortable carrying a 1911 cocked and locked. And then I also remember carrying a Glock IWB sans the holster Mexican style but with a round not chambered. I know lots of people who carry their pocket pistols in... well a pocket without a holster and haven't heard of them shooting themselves yet (some of them carrying unchambered though).

Me personally, I'm not comfortable with it. For one I don't like the bulk on a gun that I would feel safe with the stopping power of. Maybe a .25 or .22 or even a .380. But the Glock 43 still feels to bulky for me for pocket carry. Plus I feel I'm faster drawing from a holster but than again that's what I practice doing.

I mean you may be right, Jose may have a hole in that pocket he could introduce a foreign object into!

Element of surprise my friend. Someone asks for your wallet or money and you reach into your pocket and then shoot them in the face. They are generally not expecting that. But if you reach for your properly holstered gun on your side, they might realize what's going on. Oh and fuck a 1911! I would have blown some shit off with one of those in the pocket.

                          Sigh...

Should I actually be concerned about this gun? I really like it. Perhaps I should sell it and buy a 2016 produced G23, where (I would imagine) glock has addressed the issue?

Then again, I don't want to sell it to anyone, if indeed the firearm is defective and may cause someone harm. I'd just keep it and never shoot it if that truly is the case. Has the root cause been identified? From the pics it looks like the chamber, and/or barrel ruptures. Perhaps a new, improved barrel could be had, to fix the problem?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Gun was purchased in 2006 if that matters any.

My 43 is too big to pocket carry so I carry a LCP in a pocket holster. I do keep other objects in the same pocket. Keys and an ink pen.

I guess semi serious. With all the pics and reports and glock trashing, it does make you begin to question it.
